People seek therapy for many different reasons. You might be facing a particular crisis, experiencing a more general sense of feeling stuck or lost, or finding yourself engaging in self-sabotaging behaviors. While anxious or depressive symptoms may appear similar, the root of each issue lies in your unique history and experiences. Within the context of your life story, all behaviors begin to make sense. Understanding the internal conflicts that fuel your symptoms is foundational to personal transformation and making lasting change.
The following is a list of issues I have helped clients cope with and overcome: anxiety, depression/sadness, grief/loss, life transitions, low self-esteem/insecurity, mood swings, intimacy/trust issues, infidelity, acute trauma/PTSD, complex/developmental trauma, childhood issues, peer relationships/peer pressure, teen/family conflict, mindful separation/divorce, career or creative blocks, spiritual crisis/growth/awakening, midlife crisis, anger management, coping skills, lack of boundaries, and codependency.
Depth psychology is an approach that views the unconscious and what lies beneath the surface of our awareness as having a major influence on our lives, including how we relate to the world, others, and ourselves. Often, it is things we are not even aware of that lie at the root of our symptoms, such as anxiety and depression, failed relationships, career blocks, and other areas of our lives where we feel stuck.
As a psychodynamic approach, depth psychology understands that many of the issues we encounter are rooted in early life experiences. By exploring and understanding how formative experiences continue to affect our thinking, feeling, reacting, and behaving, we begin to notice repetitive patterns that are at the core of our suffering. These patterns become predictable. As we become aware of the ways we repetitively engage with life that cause us pain or unwanted results, we can start to address and change these patterns. We then have the opportunity to choose differently.
Carl Jung, the founder of analytic psychology, viewed dreams as “emissaries of the unconscious, whose task is to reveal the secrets hidden from the conscious mind.” Because of this, dreamwork is an integral part of exploring the unconscious. It involves adopting a curious attitude toward the images and figures that appear in our dreams, trusting that they are present for a reason. These dream elements may be conveying insights or messages about ourselves that we have yet to fully understand or acknowledge.
Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a powerful body-oriented approach for resolving trauma symptoms and chronic stress. According to SE, when the physical body experiences stress due to a perceived threat, survival instincts trigger a “fight” or “flight” response. If the body cannot express this fight or flight energy, it may enter a state of “freeze,” where the survival energy becomes locked or frozen in the nervous system. This locked energy results in nervous system dysregulation, causing the brain to send messages of danger or fear (fight or flight response) or helplessness and hopelessness (freeze response). The nervous system can become stuck in a state of hypervigilance, a frozen “numbed out” state, or oscillate stormily between the two.
SE works gently with a person’s body awareness to increase their capacity to tolerate strong sensations and emotions through somatic resourcing. This process allows stuck energy to move through the body and helps stabilize the nervous system. It is a profound method for safely helping clients access their body’s innate capacity for self-regulation, wholeness, and healing.

Also known as Co-Regulating Touch therapy, Somatic Resilience and Regulation (SRR) is a specialized approach to addressing developmental trauma that incorporates touch, relational connection, and presence to support co-regulation. Co-regulation through touch is a fundamental aspect of healthy human development. Infants, with the aid of touch and support from their primary attachment figures, begin to build their own neural pathways for regulation. SRR offers a structured protocol that provides clients with an opportunity to develop an embodied sense of trust and safety from within.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a powerful therapeutic modality that utilizes ketamine as a complement to both traditional talk therapy and somatic therapies.
Ketamine works by:
Overall, by enhancing neuroplasticity, ketamine allows the brain to break free from rigid, maladaptive patterns, making it easier for individuals to adopt healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and responding to life’s challenges.
Intentionality is key when working with any psychedelic substance, whether it be ketamine, ayahuasca, psilocybin, MDMA, or LSD. Approaching these substances with reverence and humility, and viewing them as allies and teachers, allows us to adopt a respectful and mindful posture towards them. In psychedelic preparation therapy, we work together to:
I love the metaphor of a psychedelic journey being akin to summiting a mountain. From this new vantage point, you gain a view that might not normally be accessible. You’ve experienced the journey, gained new insights, and made realizations. So, what’s next?
The integration of experiences from a psychedelic journey is far more crucial than the experience itself. Integration is about:
